WHERE: Hopelink Kirkland/Northshore Center, 11011 120th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98033
WHY: When a family doesn't have enough food - the most basic human need - stability in other areas is impossible. Hopelink provides food for survival and nutrition education for self-sufficiency.
WHAT: i.e. Food bank and warehouse projects. These will include, but not limited to, sorting donations, restocking our shelves, repacking bulk product, organizing and cleaning work spaces, and more.
PARKING: Please park in front of building (along the street is ok), but not to the side or in the back. The latter spaces are reserved for our food bank clients.
ACCOMMODATIONS: We have restrooms and can provide cold drinking water. You are welcome to bring your own lunches/refreshments and keep them in our refrigerator. Lockers are available for personal belongings.
APPAREL: Hopelink’s dress guidelines state, “No flip-flops or open-toed shoes are allowed in food banks. No cut-offs, halter, tube or tank tops are allowed at any time, and short, skirts or dresses should not be more than two inches above the top of the knee. T-shirts should not have large pictures/slogans and sunglasses should not be worn indoors or when interacting with clients.” For your safety, please also refrain from wearing dangly or large jewelry.
DRUG FREE ENVIRONMENT: We do not allow individuals to be under the influence or in possession of alcohol or drugs in Hopelink facilities.
